HopeWalk from Waitangirua Mall to Cannons Creek

Part of the crowd that walked from Waitangirua Mall to Cannons Creek Park this morning (10th November) concerned to promote suicide awareness and prevention. Erin and Terry from Anglican Anglicans were amongst the walkers, many of whom wore yellow clothing, who listened to several people speak in the Park of their experiences of living with suicide. All highlighted the lack of support they and those who have completed suicide have often felt at every level.

It was suggested today that there will be a walk soon from Titahi Bay into Porirua CBD. Watch this space...
